Support the Mercedes GP Team through the 2012 Season

Birdsall Services Ltd have been working at the Mercedes GP Factory in Brackley, Northamptonshire for many years now and have seen the team develop from BAR and Brawn all the way through to the current Mercedes AMG Petronas Formula One Team.

The Mercedes Team have had a fantastic start to their 2012 season and are currently placed 5th in the Constructors championship, just behind the struggling Ferrari’s. Team Principal, Ross Brawn has shown utter determination throughout the winter and we at Birdsall’s strongly believe that Mercedes GP team are strong contenders for this year’s Championship title.

Mercedes own, Nico Rosberg stunned everyone by qualifying over half a second quicker than the rest of the field at the Chinese Grand Prix. An outstanding drive secured his 1st Race win, placing him 6th in the driver’s championship just a week after he awarded the team with their first podium by finishing 3rd in Malaysia.

Seven times World Champion, Michael Schumacher has shown that the Silver Arrow has excellent potential during qualifying this season, but a few technical problems have currently left him only finishing 3 out of the 8 races. It’s still early days though and the very experienced driver is sure to prove to the youngsters that he’s still ‘Got It’.

A huge Congratulations to Michael Schumacher for securing a solid 3rd place in the Spanish Grand Prix. It's been 6 years since Micheal has taken a spot on the F1 poduim! Michael said that he had no idea where he had finshed when crossing the finish line and was completely shocked when his team mates confirmed the third place! It made the result that much more special.

The British Grand Prix is next on the calendar wish we are all very much looking forward to!! Good Luck to both Nico and Michael!
